The whole theme behind this deck and what it can bring to a modern RPG session is pretty great. I wanted to help folks playing more modern-times games with some cards, so I created this setting in my mind... The Mall. The Mall is full of stores prevalent in shopping malls of the 1990s and early 2000s. Having worked customer service at a mall during this time, I used my insight to build NPCs, locations, and items that should resonate well and be a lot of fun. I also wanted to make the deck flexible for GMs. Whether or not your game has magic/occult themes, you can use this deck. It's built with this flexibility in mind.

Additionally, this deck could be a whole session on its own. If the party wanders into a mall, feel free to let the deck do the work. Next thing they know they'll find themselves in the middle of something strange and memorable. Have fun with it!
